Since 1927, St George’s has been a
reference in matters of academic
excellence. Flanked by the Swiss Alps and
Lake Leman or the Jura Mountains and Lake
Neuchâtel, both campuses offer an
ideal environment for healthy development.
From a small exclusive girls’
boarding school, it grew to become an
international co-ed boarding and day
school of almost 500 pupils from the ages
3 to 18. We offer the IB Diploma
programme, High school Graduation Diplomas
for American universities, IGCSE and
English/French bilingual studies.
St
George’s means much more than
academic excellence.
The incomparable spirit of creativity,
cultural exchange and tolerance,
friendship and solidarity is a major part
of school life. It teaches the students
leadership, a sense of duty and
self-respect as well as respect for
others. Our first mission is to provide
each child with the opportunity to fully
develop both body and soul. Drama, fine
art and music are an integral part of the
child’s development. Excursions with
a cultural flavour are organised regularly
for students of all ages.
Sport
also plays a major role in the school. The
St. George’s various sport teams
compete against other local schools and
often bring home medals and trophies.
School life does not end in July/August.
The tradition of excellence is carried on
with one of the best summer camps in the
area. French and English classes are
taught in the morning followed by
recreational activities and excursions in
the afternoons. School provides
approximately 100 boarding places and as
many for day students from St.
George’s and beyond.
