ELFE and the teaching to students

 ELFE (Ecole de Langue Française pour Etrangers) has been specialising in teaching French to international students and adults. Our school is located in the heart of Paris, in a charming 19th century mansion house, 15 minutes on foot from Montmartre and the Opera Garnier.
We offer different courses (mini group courses of 6 people maximum and one-to-one courses), in order to fit also to the young students’ profiles: refresher courses before the beginning of the university, preparation to French exams TCF, DELF, DALF or to foreign exams of French: the A-level in Great-Britain, the Abitur in Germany…

The small size of our school creates a truly family atmosphere ideal of communication between the students and the teaching and administrative team. The students have thus many opportunities to speak French either in class or during cultural activities.

We do think indeed that language and culture go hand in hand. That is why we strongly encourage students to take part to the free activities in school such as theatre, cinema and writing workshops or to the outdoor activities like the cooking lessons at the famous Ritz Escoffier school and at l’Atelier des Chefs. The students can thus practice their French in a more relaxed and less formal atmosphere.

Moreover, our highly experienced and qualified administrative staff is on hand to help the student during his stay. We find the suitable accomodation with his desires in mind, so that his accomodation can meet his expectations. We also assist the student if he wants to switch programs or add an extra tuition. The Director of Studies and the teachers regularly check and give feedback on his level to be sure that he has been placed in the right group.

At ELFE, we think that each client is unique and we want to pay him all the attention he requires so that his formation is efficient and pleasant.
