Scope of responsibilities ============== -You will have full P&L responsibility for the West Africa operations. -The primary focus is to drive revenues and profitability for all accounts. As business expands, the role will expand to set up and manage a direct sales and support team. - You should have a strong sales background with proven contacts and relationships - At senior levels of mobile operators throughout the region - You must be able to work with a diverse team located in multiple locations (Corporate office in US, Engineering office in Mumbai), and other sales offices around the world. - You will determine marketing priorities for trade shows and seminars,specific focus on evolving the relationship with GSM Association at senior level and working group level. - You will have responsibility to close business and ensure delivery and implementation At client site occurs in a profitable manner through managing client expectations. -New relationship selling and proven ability to generate new business with existing clients. Requirements ======== -BA/BS degree minimum, advanced technical, marketing or business degree desired - 15+ years of software application selling experience - Spoken and written English required - French strongly desired - Good C-level contacts within mobile operator market - Expertise in Mobile Roaming Services & Telecoms market place - P&L experience - Strong management skills, able to co-ordinate teams in diverse locations - Excellent verbal, written & presentation skills - Self starter used to working in a start up environment with minimal direction - Multi cultural/international experience essential - Strong sales skills - Willing to travel between 50% and 75% of the time Earning potential ========== - The succesful candidate will have a compensation package that will be a combination of base salary - Commissions and substancial bonuses. - Stock options The position will report directly to the VP/GM Sales who is based in Europe.
