As a key member of the management You will focus primarily on the Finance, Controllership and reporting, Accounting,Cash Management, Human Resources and Payroll matters of the entity. This position will be responsible for managing a small finance team and ensuring corporate policies And procedures are applied properly and that risks related to local operations are under control. With the business growth in the country, this position will gain a wide experience of resource optimization, risk management and cost saving opportunities. You will lead conversations and negotiations with local banks, be the conversation partner with head office on finance matters. The preparation of the annual report and the dialogue with auditors in Algeria is another important area of responsibility. Duties will include: * Ensuring high standards of controllership, accounting and compliance * Ensuring timely, accurate and complete local (Algerian) and Group reporting * Improving awareness of risks and developing, implementing and reviewing internal controls with all functions across all processes * Ensuring processes are in place that comply fully with group policies. * Establishing appropriate controllership metrics to ensure strong controllership routines are in place * Controlling costs and operating expenses using appropriate financial metrics and taking action to optimize spending * Managing relationship with tax & other administrative authorities * Managing petty cash, T&L and relationship with banks and head office * Implementing and ensuring effective invoicing and reminder procedures in the context of effective cash management. The remuneration package will be very attractive to include a basic of 40Keuros plus advantage (location, vehicle, insurance,….). Profil du candidat Qualifications * Educational degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration * Strong analytical skills with Controllership or Accounting background Good skills for cost accounting * working experience in international forwarding or shipping business * Fluency in French and in English (written and verbal) * Solid IT working knowledge * Good skills for leading change with ability to make actionable recommendations and assess their financial impact Ref - annonce EXPAT231208
