Tunnel Design
Engineer -
Central Yunnan
Road
The project
will support
the western
corridor
development by
building an
important
section
connecting
Wuding and
Kunming.
The project
include:
1.
constructing an
expressway
across mostly
mountainous
terrain
2. improving
local roads and
passenger
transport
stations,
servicing poor
counties and
townships
3. providing
consulting
services and
training to
enhance
capacity of the
executing
agency and
domestic
consultants for
project
management,
construction
quality, road
safety, and
project
monitoring and
evaluation.
Profil et
qualifications
requis
The tunnel
design
engineer,
acting as
interim team
leader in the
absence of the
team leader
assisted by
deputy team
leader/domestic
consultant when
necessary, will
be recruited
for about 3
months at early
stage of civil
works
activities to
review:
(1) the
geological
investigation
results for
tunneling,
(2) tunneling
support
structure
design during
construction,
(3) groundwater
treatment
method for
tunneling,
(4)
shot-concrete
quality control
plan, and
(5) the
IA’s
tunneling
supervision
plan.
Also, the
specialist
should develop
measures to
strengthen the
domestic
construction
supervision
team by
providing
trainings
and/or
developing
manual in
selecting type
of support
during
tunneling.
