candidat
Qualifications
and skills
·
Advanced
university
degree (min. 4
years) in Civil
Engineering or
equivalent.
General
professional
experience
·
Extensive
experience in
road
engineering
with preferably
15 years (but
at least 10
years)
of experience
in design and
supervision of
main and feeder
roads (paved
and unpaved)
and similar
structures
·
Experience in
managing the
implementation
of one feeder
road programme
with a project
value of at
least � 3
million.
Specific
professional
experience
·
Experience as a
Resident
Engineer
· At least
4 years of
experience in
developing
countries
·
Experience in
EU-funded
projects
(Budget/EDF)
· Good
interpersonal
skills
·
Proficiency in
English,
written and
oral
· Computer
literate
·
Experience in
the Caribbean
considered an
asset
· Working
knowledge of
Spanish
considered an
asset.
